Dad of 2 Fights for Life in Hungary – Treatment Would Buy Him Time
Some stories make us pause and reflect on what truly matters. Pál’s story is one of them. The 38-year-old father is raising two little girls – a four-year-old and a baby just five months old. Only a few months ago, his life was completely ordinary: work, family, plans for the future. Then, everything changed with a sudden epileptic seizure.

Further medical examinations revealed a devastating diagnosis: glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Although the surgery to remove the tumor was successful, the nature of the disease means that standard treatments alone are often not enough.

Today, Pál’s hope lies in an innovative, personalized immunotherapy. This treatment works by helping the immune system recognize and destroy cancer cells – including those that may remain hidden after surgery.

However, this therapy is only available abroad and comes at a very high cost. The total expense, including treatment and travel, is approximately HUF 34 753 050 and is not covered by health insurance.

For Pál, this is not just about treatment. It is a chance to gain more time with his daughters – to watch them grow up.

His story has already touched more than 1,400 people, and the goal is now within reach, with 92% of the required amount already raised.
