    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade summoned Austria’s ambassador in Budapest over a “scandalous statement” made by one of the heads at Austrian state media, Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Máté Paczolay told news agency MTI on Thursday. The remark stating that, "Orbán having a heart attack would be an honourable thing to do," has since been retracted.

    Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has successfully enforced Hungary’s interests in Brussels, a senior analyst of the Twenty-First Century Institute said on Tuesday, noting that the European Commission’s original proposal for an oil embargo failed to pass, while the approved sanctions package exempts crude oil delivered via pipelines.
