Jump in at Special ‘Night of Spas’ in Hungary on 27 July
The annual summer event of the Hungarian Bath Association, the Night of Beaches, has become a cherished tradition. On Saturday, July 27th, beaches nationwide will host events well into the night, in nearly sixty locations.

Every year, local beaches organise activities for the season supported by The Hungarian Bath Association.

This marks the 15th Night of the Beaches. Nearly sixty venues nationwide will be offering excitement and refreshment in their beach programs.

These include face painting, glitter tattoos, clowns, animated games, bouncy castles and giant bubble magic. If that’s not enough, there are also candy cannons and slide races.

Parties include a bath festival, beach party, pool party, cocktail party, balloon party or foam party, with music and dance from DJ shows, retro discos and zumba, to Brazilian and Latin dances, and salsa in the water.

Night-time attractions promise sauna sessions, beach cinema, fire jugglers, and a special musical laser show.

Baths taking part in the Night of the Beaches choose their own opening hours for the day. Most beaches will be open until midnight, with some even extending to 1a.m. or 2a.m.

Many locations will also offer discounts for those coming for the night-time bathing.

With the summer heat expected to continue, a refreshing night-time swim after a long, hot day is just what you need!

For years, the Hungarian Bath Association has been organising programmes to showcase the diversity of local baths and to popularise bathing. This summer season, the Hungarian Bath Association has launched three initiatives.

New this year is "School on the Beach" – this is for students during the last week of the extended school year.

Last year's nationwide water pistol battle, has become this year's joint season-opening event. Both the baths and their guests are benefitting from this national initiative.
