OTP has signed an agreement to buy Banco Popolare’s Croatian subsidiary (BPC) for HRK107 million, (Ft 4.4 billion) the bank announced on Friday. BPC’s market share is only 0.6% overall, but is over 2% for consumer loans. The bank has 54,000 clients, 30 branches and 30 ATMs.

The Fifth District said in a statement that the new Pet fi utca favours pedestrians, as a wider pavement is in place, and street furniture and trees make the public area more appealing.

Consolidated gross debt fell by Ft 160 billion to 80.2% of GDP in the third quarter, according to figures from the National Bank. Analysts project that the full-year figure will be somewhere near 79.4%, down slightly from 79.8% at the end of 2012.
