Dairy Company & Uni in Hungary Develop Technology to Produce Premium Milk
Dairy company Bóly and the Kaposvár Campus of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences jointly developed tech to breed cattle producing only premium quality A2 milk, the company said.

The project was financed from a HUF 775 million grant from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH).

A2 milk is easier to digest, according to some international research, and could therefore play an increasingly important role in nutrition, it said.

The resulting breeding animals, reproductive materials and raw milk could help the company increase sales and profitability in the future, Bóly, a member of the Bonafarm group, said.

Bóly has a headcount of 600 workers. It had net sales revenue of HUF 28.6 billion last year.
