Downtown Square In Budapest Restored
Ferenciek tere in downtown Budapest has been restored and Pet fi Sándor utca is again open to traffic along its full length. The Fifth District said in a statement that the new Pet fi utca favours pedestrians, as a wider pavement is in place, and street furniture and trees make the public area more appealing.

Budapest city council and the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) launched an open public procurement tender for the renovation of Buda’s Széll Kálmán tér, the former Moszkva tér. Work is to begin in the second quarter of this year.
