The European Union must speed up enlargement in order to overcome its problems, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said after talks with Albanian EU integration minister Klajda Gjosha. Integrating the western Balkans would strengthen the bloc, he said. The current challenges faced by the EU should not be used as an excuse to turn inward, Szijjártó said.

Prior to the foundation stone being laid for Promenade Gardens, a new large-scale, sustainable office building on Váci út, a press statement sent to the Budapest Business Journal today announced that Celanese Hungary Ltd. will set up its 4,200 square-meter headquarters in the building from April 2018. On 4th November, the internationally famous Dutch designer, Marcel Wanders personally handed over the Award he founded to the graduates of MOME’s (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest) Design Institute. On the basis of his master diploma project, a textile and fashion design graduate, Richard Marton received the main award that also comes with a 1,500 Euro prize.
