In ten years, the number of foreigners living in Hungary has increased by 61 percent, Géza Sebestyén, economist and Head of the Center for Economic Policy of Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC), pointed out in a post on his social media page.

In light of census data showing that 25% of Sixth District residents are foreign nationals and that nearly 20% of the children attending kindergartens and schools in Terézváros are non-Hungarian, the local council has published a special issue of its local newspaper in English.

Hungarian-born physicist Ferenc Krausz and French physicists Pierre Agostini and Anne L’Huillier won the Nobel Prize in Physics “for experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter”, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced.
