The newly arranged Egyptian exhibition has been opened in the Museum of Fine Arts, including new artefacts purchased through the biggest acquisition in the history of the Egyptian collection. Now, the whole ensemble contains almost 500 pieces of history.

The Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) hosts the photo exhibition of Mr Péter Antall titled „Adventures in Egypt” and „Flashes about József Antall”. All pictures of late Prime Minister Antall were taken during his international meetings.

Hungarian stork Ménes accused of being a spy was first arrested then was killed and eaten shortly after its release in Egypt last week. The man who found and gave Ménes to the police thought the bird was an undercover agent because it carried an electronic device.

With a few steps into another world, we had ‘Thai Days’ in the Central Market Hall. After the ‘Egyptian Days’, we could dive into the Thai atmosphere with some of the finest products and decorations from Thailand with which the Market Hall welcomed its visitors. This was another very interesting event as part of the 'Tourism Days' to show visitors a different part of the world.

Today Wizz Air announced a new route from Budapest to Moscow Vnukovo which will commence on 23 September. The new service will initially operate five times a week.
