Kerosene Shortage at Budapest Airport Causes Flight Delays
A flight to Hurghada, Egypt could not leave Budapest on time on Friday, due to a lack of kerosene, RTL learned from passengers.

A Ryanair flight to Mallorca was also forced to wait an hour due to a lack of fuel on Thursday.

Budapest Airport told RTL that the interruptions are caused by a temporary storage problem at one of the fuel suppliers.

MOL, the airport’s largest fuel supplier, said the problem was beyond its purview.
