It has become a tradition in the course of the Budapest music competitions to organize every fith year an international violin competition named after the world-famous Hungarian violinist József Szigeti. A peculiarity of the event to take place in September 2012 is that both young violinists and viola players are invited to the competition.

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost, low-fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe, will begin services from Debrecen Airport (DEB) as of 18 June 2012. The airline will initially offer three weekly flights, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from Debrecen to London Luton Airport (LTN), offering convenient access to the London city center and other regions in Central England.

The Bus will park from 3:00PM to 6:30PM at Széchenyi tér (formerly Roosevelt tér, near the Chain Bridge in the Academy of Sciences parking lot), to provide a voter registration table for US citizens.
