Summer Festival Guide: Top 15 Concerts @ Sziget Budapest - the “Island of Freedom”
Over 100 nationalities are represented at Sziget each year recently, with people coming from as far away as Brazil or New Zealand. So for expats living here it’s a golden summer opportunity to see a wide range of top international artists play live here in Budapest at the “Island of Freedom” – here are 15 of the best gigs worth considering this year.

1. Kylie @ Sziget Festival in Budapest, 7 August

Kylie’s glittering career has seen her amass sales of over 80 million records worldwide, 5 billion streams and 9 UK No 1 albums. Her multiple awards include 4 BRIT awards, 2 MTV awards, and 2 Grammys.

2. Halsey @ Sziget Festival in Budapest, 8 August

Halsey has amassed more than 50 billion global streams, with over 75 million RIAA-certified adjusted singles and albums sold in the US to date. They are one of the only artists ever to have four different songs hit 1-BILLION streams on Spotify.

3. Liam Gallagher @ Sziget Festival in Budapest, 9 August

It would be hard to top Liam Gallagher’s biblical Knebworth Park shows, which proved to be some of the biggest live events of 2022. But the always ambitious icon has once again excelled himself with news of a tour that will be bigger than biblical.

Four Tet is the electronic outlet for the solo work of Keiran Hebden. First single was the 36-minute ‘Thirtysixtwentyfive’ on Trevor Jackson's Output Recordings label (1998). ‘Dialogue’ was Four Tet's first full-length album, fusing hip-hop drum lines with dissonant jazz samples.

14. RAYE @ Sziget Festival in Budapest, 12 August

Four times BRIT nominated, RAYE is one of the most streamed artists in the world with over 3 billion streams of her music. In the UK she has a double-platinum, five platinum, four gold and four silver singles to her name, plus multiple international accreditations.

15. Fred Again... @ Sziget Festival in Budapest, 12 August
