The art deco architect István Sajó was born in Debrecen, in Eastern Hungary. Despite a successful career in America, he returned home to the great Hungarian plain, where he built modern, exciting and spacious art deco buildings among the traditional, mostly single-storey, neo-classical houses lining the city’s streets. Sajó’s heart and soul belonged to Debrecen.

Now on until 4 June. The art deco architect István Sajó was born in Debrecen, in Eastern Hungary. Low income families need all types of gently used clothing, particularly warm clothes and coats for cold weather, formal clothes (to attend job interviews), kids' clothing (they grow out of them so fast!), and shoes. It's really helpful if donated clothing is clean, reasonably wrinkle-free, or neatly folded.

Throughout most of the 20th century, neon lights were the sign of progress and modernity – and behind the Iron Curtain, the illusion of it. Fixed upon the crumbling facades of the once magnificent buildings of post-war Budapest, neon lights beamed banal advertisements and Communist propaganda just like in any other country of the Eastern Bloc.
