The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has purchased the Eiffel Palace office building, located in the centre of Budapest, for EUR 45.3m not including VAT, in order to exploit the advantages from the property investment, the NBH told MTI. Output of Hungary’s construction sector rose an annual 11.4% in December, slowing from an 18.9% increase in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said. Output rose for the eleventh month in a row. Adjusted for the number of workdays, output also rose 11.4% in December.
