Budapest will host a meeting of the European association of national conference tourism offices in September, the newsletter of state tourism agency Magyar Turizmus (MT) said. MT represents Hungary in the association that was established last October.

Hungary received 9.6% more foreign tourists in January, who spent 8.3% more nights in paid accommodation than in the same month of last year, the Central Statistics Office reports.
