Three one-act dance pieces composed by Béla Bartók are presented in one evening, each of them choreographed by a different artist.

The art deco architect István Sajó was born in Debrecen, in Eastern Hungary. Despite a successful career in America, he returned home to the great Hungarian plain, where he built modern, exciting and spacious art deco buildings among the traditional, mostly single-storey, neo-classical houses lining the city’s streets. Sajó’s heart and soul belonged to Debrecen.

A traveling photo exhibition dubbed “Two Nations One Camera (2N1C) Budapest-Ankara” opened in the Várkert Bazar center in the Hungarian capital on Friday. The exhibition shows the two capital cities on 55 images taken by 12 Turkish and Hungarian amateur photographers, the foreign ministry’s deputy state secretary said at the opening.
