The annual Hungarian Film Week got under way in Budapest on Sunday evening. Screenings are also scheduled in Debrecen, Kaposvár, Miskolc, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Székesfehérvár, Szeged, Szolnok, Szombathely and Szentendre.

Oscar-winning French actress Juliette Binoche will be the guest of honour at this year’s CineFest International Film Festival organised in Miskolc, in northern Hungary, between Sept. 9-18, the organisers announced. Binoche will receive the festival’s special prize, they said.

Paddy And The Rats is an Irish Pub Punk Rock band based out of Miskolc Hungary. The group was founded by Paddy O'Reilly (songwriter, vocals), Vince Murphy (bass) and Joey MacOnkay (electric guitar) in 2008.
