Giant Croatian Easter Egg Exhibited In Pécs

The extraordinary, two-metre attraction was erected in Pécs’s central Széchenyi tér. Similar giant Easter eggs have been made by craftsmen in Croatia’s Koprivnica-Križevci County, on the border with Hungary, since 2007 and the project has now become part of the region’s cultural heritage.

When Master Geppetto artfully fashions a small wooden figure from a tree stump he finds outside his hous, the figure appears as a happy little boy.
