As the renovation of the Buda Castle’s roads continue, the castle’s main entrance will be closed from road traffic as of 3 September (Monday). Road traffic and public transport changes are expected. The cabinet plans to introduce an identity card in 2014 for Budapest residents which will also be a BKV pass, Népszabadság reports. The card will carry all data now featured on separate cards, such as address, social insurance and tax numbers, under an agreement reached by the Administration Ministry and the Budapest Transport Centre.
