A temporary exhibition dubbed “Risking their lives - Poles saving Jewish people during the Holocaust” was opened in the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Budapest. The exhibition was organized by the Polish embassy and the Polish Institute in Budapest and assembled by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews (Polin Museum) and the Polish Foreign Ministry.

Indian Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari donated $15,000 to two Hungarian schools yesterday. The Gandhi High School and Basic Degree Art School and the Dr. Ámbédkar High School, Vocational School, Special Vocational School and Primary School received the donation for helping to socially include Roma children.

In the late 19th and early 20th century, tens of thousands of Bulgarian market gardeners appeared in Hungary to introduce new vegetables and revolutionise gardening with the application of new irrigation technologies.
