AirBaltic will operate flights between Riga and Hévíz-Balaton Airport from May 4, 2013, under a three-year contract signed yesterday. The Latvian airline’s planes will fly once a week on Saturdays in the summer until October, vice president Janis Vangas announced. Each one-way ticket will cost €41.

"No-frills airline Wizz Air has had almost EUR 10 million in consolidated losses in the 2009 fiscal year, a Czech newspaper claimed. The management commented only as much as the Hungarian subsidiary was profitable, however the Ukrainian and Bulgarian branches were generating losses.
