Swimming Federation president Tamás Gyárfás resigned yesterday, in the wake of criticisms from multiple Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú and other top swimmers. “Even the darkest night must end and the sun will rise,” Hosszú wrote on her Facebook page in response.

Hungarian Wines Fare Well At Asia Wine Trophy

Hungarian wines have fetched several prizes at Asia Wine Trophy in South Korea, which is the largest wine expo in Asia, the foreign ministry said. A total of 37 Hungarian wines were presented at the event, and two received silver, nine received gold and Pannon Tokaj cellars’ Dominium 6 puttony aszú finished as the category winner, fetching a gold medal, ministry commissioner Gyula Budai said.
