From August 20 to 22, as part of the Open Parliament programme, the Parliament Building will open its doors to the general public free of charge and without prior registration.
On these days, visitors can admire the building’s impressive interior spaces up close, including the Grand Staircase and the Dome Hall.
The special programme also offers a unique opportunity to view the Holy Crown of Hungary and the coronation regalia, guarded by the Honour Guard. In addition to the festive walk through the building, visitors can explore the exhibitions of the Parliamentary Museum free of charge.
Due to exceptionally high interest, entry is subject to strict security screening, so visitors should expect longer waiting times to enter the building.
The Open Parliament is accessible to visitors with disabilities without queuing; please ask the Parliamentary Guard for assistance upon arrival.
