Hungarian–Portuguese Book Launch, Margaux Kávézó Budapest, 4 September
Portuguese writer, publisher and cultural practitioner Vitor Vicente returns to Budapest to launch his new bilingual Hungarian–Portuguese book, published by Napkút Kiadó.

Having lived in Budapest for several years, Vitor presents a personal, humorous and sometimes contradictory portrait of the Hungarian capital.

The book is less a conventional guide than a literary journey through the Budapest that continues to exist in the writer’s memory and imagination.

Vitor is the founder of Ring of Culture and host of The Witty Vitor Podcast. His guests have included Hungarian sociologist and author Frank Furedi, cultural commentator Virág Gulyás, and Hungarian-British novelist Tibor Fischer.

The Budapest launch forms part of Vitor’s September Central Eastern European tour, which continues with literary and cultural appearances in Łazyniec and Warsaw.
Place: Margaux Kávézó
Address: 1024 Budapest, Margit körút 7.
