Objections against any electoral irregulari-ties may be filed with election commissions within three days after the second round. The commissions will have three days to assess the complaints. Appeals against their rulings must be filed with the regional or national election commissions within three days.
Claimants unhappy with decisions at that level will have another three days to turn to the courts. Courts will again have three days to assess the cases. In all, there are 15 days to seek legal remedy.
When all complaints have been resolved, the National Election Commission will announce the official final election results.
Once the new Parliament convenes, the current cabinet will function as a caretaker government with limited powers until the for-mation of a new cabinet. The interim government may not propose or dismiss ministers and may pass decrees only in urgent matters.
The president must propose a new prime minister to the House within one month of the inaugural session of Parliament, customarily the candidate of the winning party. The prime minister is elected by a simple majority of more than half of all MPs. Parliament will elect a prime minister and approve a government platform simultaneously."
