Joint Hungarian-American Air Power Exercise in Kecskemét
"Building on the highly successful State Partnership Program between Hungary and the State of Ohio, airmen, along with 8 F-16s from the Ohio Air National Guard deployed to Kecskemét Air Base in central Hungary from 26 April through 8 May.

They were here to participate in the Load Diffuser 2010 exercise along with members of the Hungarian Air Force. This exercise provided a robust opportunity to integrate all facets of the Hungarian Air Force’s mission and improve the defense of the territorial airspace over Hungary.

The participants practiced NATO standard procedures which enhanced their ability to be interoperable with other NATO members. Ground attack controllers, radar weapons controllers, surface-to-air missile operators, as well as pilots and maintenance personnel all were afforded the opportunity to hone their skills in a demanding simulated combat environment. As a result of this training, the Hungarians and U.S. forces are better at what they do in accomplishing their respective missions."
