Famous Hungarian Opera Singer Dies

"International opera singer László Polgár died unexpectedly in Zürich, Switzerland aged 63 on Sunday.
Polgár received the Kossuth Prize in 1990 and won a Grammy Award for a recording of Prince Bluebeard in 1999. In a glittering career he performed at such venues as La Scala, Covent Garden and the Vienna State Opera.
A statement from the Hungarian State Opera said it considered Polgár one of its own."
