1 In 4 Has Literacy, Numeracy Problems In Hungary

"More than a quarter of Hungarians are unable to count or read at a reasonable level, according to a joint survey carried out by the OECD and the Canadian statistics office.
The researchers measured the basic skills of 13,600 adults in 164 Hungarian municipalities, testing their ability to read texts, documents, to count, and their problem solving skills. Hungarian women outperformed the men in all four categories."
