See Gregory Porter, Rick Astley, Matt Bianco in Hungary at Jazzpiknik '26
Global stars Rick Astley, Matt Bianco, Earth, Wind and Fire Experience, Gregory Porter and Ella Eyre will be among the headliners at the 14th Paloznak Jazz Picnic between August 6-8 this year, the organisers said on Tuesday.

"The great value of festivals is their incredible power to build community. The Paloznak Jazz Picnic is also a gathering place and meeting point for people with similar values and tastes, complemented by the beauty of the northern Balaton landscape," festival founder Orsolya Valde told a press conference in Budapest.

British singer Rick Astley will perform in Paloznak, in western Hungary, for the third time, after a warm-up act by Dutch duo Adani & Wolf on August 6, she said.

The second day will feature British singer Ella Eyre, the legendary American group Earth, Wind and Fire Experience, and the Austrian band Deladap, she said, adding that the latter two are making up for their concerts that were either cut short or canceled last year.

On the closing day, Saturday, August 8, British artist Matt Bianco will open the main stage, followed by world-renowned American jazz singer Gregory Porter, followed by the French group Electro Deluxe.

Daniel Santa, managing director of the event, said that while the main stage traditionally features more pop-oriented acts, the smaller venues in the village centre of Paloznak will once again feature jazz-oriented music this year.

"For the first time this year, two Polish bands, Immortal Onion and Tantfreaky, will perform, but there will also be concerts by the Peter Sarik Trio, Soma Mamagesa and the Vanavan band, the JuciHunor Duo, Antonai Vai, Ripoff Raskolnikov, Glencz, as well as the Nemeth Bendeguz Quartet", Santa added.

Bordivat Udvar, which debuted last year, will once again serve as the venue for wine tastings and fashion shows this year, he said.
