Fugitive Crashes Car In Police Chase In Budapest

He was caught after illegally driving into a one-way street, where he collided with another car. Two children in the other vehicle sustained light injuries.
Police gave chase when they saw the driver overtake a line of stationary cars and run a red light at the corner of Ady Endre and Táncsics Mihály út. The driver continued to ignore police signals and sped away.
After crashing his vehicle, the 27-year-old man from Érd jumped out of the car and ran away but was soon caught by police. It turned out that six warrants for his arrest had been issued. Another man in the same car escaped."
