Hungarian Language Museum To Preserve The Magyar Identity
"The Hungarian Language Museum, located in the tiny village of Szephalom (NE Hungary) has recently opened a permanent exhibition to showcase what it calls the “Secrets of secrets – The past, present and future of the Hungarian language.”

Organizers of the exhibit said that their aim was to utilize the achievements of the 21st Century to create an interactive forum for young and old who are interested in the Hungarian language. They did not hide the fact that they would gladly see the museum as a sort of “pilgrimage centre” for all Hungarians living in the Carpathian Basin.

The museum is reportedly representing the Hungarian culture, tradition and national identity of Hungary, via its various exhibitions. According to statistics there are about 15 million Hungarians world wide. They speak a multiplicity of various dialects. Allegedly the “Magar”, the oldest known tribe of Nepal, also have strong cultural and language relations to the Hungarians."
