Heavy Snowfall Affects Flights In Budapest

"Up to 40 centimetres of snow fell in some areas of Hungary over the weekend. Around 240 accidents occurred on roads on Saturday although none resulted in deaths. Train traffic was uneven with 15 to 20 minute delays reported on several lines.
Ferihegy airport is operating normally, although several weekend flights were cancelled. Lufthansa cancelled four flights from Frankfurt due to the adverse weather conditions in Western Europe and was unable to receive a Malév flight from Budapest.
A Dublin flight and two BA flights from Heathrow were also cancelled."
