Zona Taxi In Budapest Takes Airport Contract To Court
"Zona Taxi has challenged the contract between Budapest Airport (BA) and Fotaxi, the winner of the Ferihegy airport taxi tender, Zona Taxi owner Istvan Veres said.

Veres says the tender results should be invalidated, because BA did not have the approval of the local government and the local-government owned Droszt, when it announced to call a new tender.

Zona Taxi had provided exclusive taxi services to Ferihegy until the airport manager severed its contract with it in October, citing disagreements over tariffs.

Fotaxi, the winner of the new tender, is due to start operations at Ferihegy from December 7, but Zona Taxi is asking the courts to suspend the commencement of the service until its legal challenges are settled. "
