NAV Data Reveals Chinese Online Shops Now Using Budapest Airport as Key Hub for East Europe
Liszt Ferenc International Airport has now become the largest storage and distribution centre in East Europe for parcel traffic from China, website 24 learned from the data of the tax authority NAV.

Only a small part of the goods arriving at the airport from online shops Temu, Shein, AliExpress and other online marketplaces are sent to domestic recipients, as more than 95% of the goods are forwarded to other countries in the region, mainly to Austria, Slovakia, and the entire West Balkan region.

Temu itself has set up separate distribution centres, in the larger Eastern European countries Poland and Romania.
