Invitation: Magashegyi Underground, National Concert Hall Budapest, 24 February
- 21 Feb 2012 8:00 AM
Following the Ezer Erdő (1,000 Forests) album, Ezer Város (1,000 Cities) online maxi disc and at least 1,000 fantastic concerts, the group “moves in” with a symphony orchestra and chorus in an attempt to retrace their steps to the start of their reformation over 1,000 days ago with the help of forty musicians and instruments.
Besides unique orchestration and sound, the evening promises to hold a few more surprises, as the audience will be the first to hear the band’s new album released in the first half of the year.
Gábor Subicz is responsible for the orchestration of the songs, already known for his adaptation of tunes by the Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra for symphony orchestra, as well as his unique musical remixes for the likes of the Modern Art Orchestra, Veronika Harcsa and the Erik Sumo (Big) Band. The symphony orchestra and chorus will be conducted by László Grünvald, who is also artistic director of the Talamba Percussion Group.
