Budapest Airport Landings Down
The number of landings at the Ferenc Liszt Airport will be about 82,000 this year, down from 110,000 a year earlier, operator Budapest Airport spokesman Mihály Hardy said. This is about how many landings there were a decade ago, he said. Most of the airport’s revenues come from landing fees.

Budapest Airport will vacate Terminal 1, which was modernised in 2005, and five low cost airlines, easyJet, Germanwings, Jet2.com, Norwegian and Wizz Air, will move to Terminal 2 in two weeks. The fee in the newer Terminal 2 is higher by about €5 per passenger, media reports.
