New Head Of Prime Minister’s Office Lashes Out At “American-Financed” Opposition
The opposition is financed by foreigners, new Prime Minister’s Office chief János Lázár asserted before regular business in Parliament yesterday. “There are MPs sitting in the rows of the opposition, among LMP and the Socialists, who are financed by Americans,” he declared.

"They conduct politics by the Americans for the Americans. But we have been conducting politics over the past two years from Hungarian money, with Hungarian businesses and for Hungary,” Lázár intoned.

Lázár should bear responsibility for his accusations in a court, Socialist leader Attila Mesterházy replied. In fact, he continued, it is Fidesz which is suspected of being financed by corruption, that is why it is important to examine what kind of influence Közgép owner Lajos Simicska has on Viktor Orbán and Lázár.

LMP caucus leader Benedek Jávor said it is a crime that the government has not fought corruption and nepotism but instead gave land to oligarchs and awarded state contracts to the “Simicska-Nyerges axis”.
