Hungarian national János Jurkovics has found the grave of his one-time POW grandfather namesake in Nizhny Tagil, Siberia, 67 years after the war. His grandfather was taken prisoner in Transcarpathia on November 20, 1944 and from there to prisoner of war camp no. 245 in Nizhny Tagil where he died on July 2, 1945. Only a granite pillar recalls the sufferings of the prisoners of war and civilian forced labourers.
