A Short Hungarin Separatist Video Emerges In Transylvania
- 13 Aug 2012 9:00 AM
Romanian Interior Minister Mircea Dusa said that “in view of the co-operation between the Romanian and Hungarian governments and their good ties” they should probably discuss the film at government level. Dusa said Romanian authorities are investigating who tried to foment rumours about the camp.
The Romanian government meanwhile denies reports that Székely people demanding autonomy are holding a sharp-shooting practice, claims Magyar Hírlap.
The organisers of the youth camp near Sfantu Gheorghe also protested the accusations. Chief organiser Sándor Soós called the short film an act of provocation, observing that the video was presumably recorded in Hungary. He said the organisers have turned to the police and will report those who uploaded the film.
The shooting practice is being held on the main square of Páty, Pest county, Magyar Hírlap reveals.
