Nokia Shifts Regional HQ From Vienna To Hungary
Nokia is moving its East European regional marketing and sales centre from Vienna to Budapest, spokeswoman Alma Mautner confirmed to Austrian daily Die Presse. The report was confirmed by spokeswoman Anna Simai of the Nokia factory in Komárom.

The move is a result of a reorganisation within the company, Simai added.

The reorganisation, expected to affect 30 jobs, is still in the planning phase and will be effective from October 1.

Nokia is making the change because the restructuring makes Austria part of Nokia’s West European operations, while Hungary remains in the Central Europe region.
