Property Entrepreneur Who Built Too Far In Nature In Budapest Will Be Charged
Police are asking prosecutors to press charges against property entrepreneur Péter Csipak, who is suspected of building part of his house without a permit on a nature conservation area in Buda. The National Bureau of Investigation said Csipak had occupied more than 2,300 square metres of a natural protection area.

The National Bureau of Investigation said Csipak had occupied more than 2,300 square metres of a natural protection area.

Csipak is associated with the Fashion Street in downtown Budapest, and planned a “glass zeppelin” hotel project in the heart of downtown Pest.

He refused to make a statement. If convicted, he could be sentenced to a three-year prison term for damaging the environment.
