Hungarian Socialists Open To Co-operation
As the Orbán cabinet cannot be unseated without the Socialists, the party has a responsibility to be open to co-operation with other democratic organisations, party leader Attila Mesterházy told reporters last week.

While he is pleased by the return to politics of former prime minister Gordon Bajnai, Mesterházy said it would be a bad thing if only one person were fit to run the country.

He confirmed that the Socialists are encouraging their supporters to attend the October 23 Milla rally, at which Bajnai will be the main speaker.
