Slot Machines Now Banned In Hungary
The new law banning slot machines outside of casinos is now in effect, as the law was published in official gazette Magyar Közlöny on Tuesday. The legislation was passed with one day’s notice on October 2.

The European Gaming and Amusement Federation, as well as its Austrian, German, Dutch and Slovene members, turned to the European Commission objecting that the new regulation violates the constitution, EU law and the European Convention on Human Rights.
