“Basically the film is about Hungary, namely about what happened to the country as a result of the Nazi invasion and Soviet rule,” Magyar Hírlap quoted Hubay’s grandson as saying.

“A family is in the background that had everything and then lost everything: what is portrayed happened to my parents and happened to millions,” László Hubay Cebrian said.

The film, based on the memoirs of Hubay’s daughterin- law, will be shot in Hungary and in Portugal, where the family settled after the war.

Producers Allan Loeb and Greg Pritikin expect the world premier to be in 2015.
