Hungarian Police Guilty Of Forceful Interrogation
The Debrecen Court of Appeals on Monday upheld a Miskolc Court’s conviction of three police officers of forceful interrogation and other crimes in 2009. Two of the three police officers in Mezõkövesd, Borsod county were given suspended 16-month prison terms, while the third was fined Ft 375,000 for forgery of public documents.

The convictions pertain to the interrogation of three high school students who were threatened and slapped repeatedly until they confessed to harassing one of their teachers. They sustained minor injuries.
