The Mediterranean-style Hungarian city Pécs needs no introduction, especially for the ones who have already been there. It is the centre of Hungary’s cultural and artistic life since the time of Janus Pannonius. The Pécsi Spring Wine Festival (formerly known as the Toast of the Regions) will be held between the 8 and 12th of May at the main square (Széchenyi tér) of the city. In line with the Wine there will be a particular Spice Festival, which is taking place for the second time in Pécs.
