Jobbik MP Causes Fatal Accident In Hungary
An elderly woman died of injuries caused when she was struck by a car driven by Jobbik MP Gábor Ferenczi on Tuesday morning in Ajka. Veszprém county police are examining the circumstances of the accident. The Jobbik caucus said Ferenczi did not see the 93-year-old woman as she was pushing her bicycle across the road, because the sun was shining in his eyes.

The MP co-operated with the ambulance service and police, and took a breathalyser test, which proved negative.

Jobbik said Ferenczi was deeply affected by the accident and expressed his sympathy for the family of the deceased. He will waive his right to immunity from prosecution as soon as possible.
