Canadian Embassy In Budapest Expresses Solidarity With Hungary During Flood Emergency
Today, Mon 10 June, the Ambassador of Canada in Budapest offered a message of solidarity with the people of Hungary during the ongoing flood emergency in that country.


"On behalf of Canada, I would like to express our shared concern and solidarity with the people of Hungary as the flooding which has already affected much of Central Europe begins to impact this country. We applaud the significant efforts being undertaken to mitigate the impacts of the rising flood waters."

Canada will continue to monitor the impact of this event, and will remain in close contact with Hungarian authorities.
