Hungary's Minister Balog Pelted With Eggs In Zurich

Protesters threw eggs at Human Resources Minister Zoltán Balog as he gave a talk on Roma at the University of Zurich on Friday. Demonstrators organised by leftist student organisation KriPo threw eggs at Balog and fought with police. Two of them were detained temporarily.
Balog’s lecture was entitled “Roma: a Problem or an Opportunity?” KriPo objected that Roma integration in Hungary means forced labour for a humiliating wage. Hungary punishes the poor, and is establishing Orwellian state structures, they alleged.
