Invitation: Ploutos (Wealth) By Aristophanes, Átrium Budapest, 24 June
Ploutos (Wealth) by Aristophanes It is a social political tragic satire that exposes the flows of our societies in regards of Wealth. The play interpret how individualism and personal ambitions create a chain of actions that not always have the outcome that we initial believe, virtue and wealth are still confused. No matter status everyone bows in the name of wealth... Is that a fact or debatable question?

Aristophanes raises these questions all the way up to the gods and also winks to all of those that claim they are representatives of them on earth in the form of politicians or religious leaders.

By evolution of humanity and the development of thousands years of all societies around the globe the issues that Aristophanes explores have remained the same it seems that Humans do not learn very quickly.

Believe it or not lots of things in connection with wealth have not changed since the first time that play was performed back on 408 BC...

Aristophanes just a play write or a satiric prophet...?

Perfomance starts at 8 pm.
